The latter part of 2020 saw interesting trends in the zombie gaming category on the iOS platform in Australia. With data provided by Sensor Tower, we can delve into the performance of the top five zombie-themed games in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

State of Survival: Zombie War, published by FunPlus International AG, displayed a fluctuating pattern in revenue, peaking at around $208K in mid-October and ending the quarter with about $153K in the last week of December. Downloads saw a gradual decline from over 13K in mid-October to approximately 7.4K by year's end. Weekly active users peaked at nearly 28K in mid-October but dipped to around 20K towards the close of the year.

Last Shelter: Survival, from LONG TECH NETWORK LIMITED, experienced its highest revenue in the quarter at about $46K in mid-October, with a descending trend to roughly $21K by the end of December. The game saw a notable spike in downloads in the last week of December, reaching over 300. Weekly active users had a slight increase over the quarter, from 3.3K to nearly 4K.

Hong Kong Ke Mo software Co., Limited's Age of Origins:Tower Defense had a relatively stable revenue throughout the quarter, hovering between $24K and $32K. Downloads showed a declining trend, from 1.5K at the beginning of the quarter to around 1.4K at the end. Active users saw a slight increase from 10K to just over 11K by the end of December.

The newcomer Puzzles & Survival by BUILDING-BLOCKS NETWORK TECHNOLOGY CO.,LIMITED, showed a promising increase in revenue, from a modest $1.4K to an impressive $22K by the end of the quarter. Downloads also increased, from 601 to 2.1K, and the weekly active users more than doubled from 1.5K to 3.3K.

Lastly, LifeAfter from NetEase Games showed a revenue decline from $14.5K to $4.6K by the quarter's end. Downloads remained relatively low, with a slight increase from 652 to 245. The weekly active users remained stable, hovering around the 2.8K mark throughout the quarter.
